Paddywhack

Paddywhack is a Lincoln based group that has performed folk music from the British Isles and North America since 1978. The band currently consists of Chris Sayre, Dave Marsh, and Terry Keefe, three of the original members. Over the years they have maintained their distinct sound and unique flavor. The group plays a variety of jigs, hornpipes, polkas, and reels on a multitude of instruments and mixes.

Orion Walsh

After a decade of putting out albums and touring, Nebraska singer-songwriter Orion Walsh has released “Walking Through the Forest” with new label Fair Vaux Records. Walsh has previously released eight albums with independent labels Sower Records & Indie Vision Music, including “The Hitchhiker’s Son” produced by AJ Mogis (Bright Eyes, Monsters of Folk).

Lightning Bugs

The Lightning Bugs are a popular jazz trio specializing in “Moonbeam Swing. “The band’s name is borrowed from the title of the pop music classic, Glow Worm. Smooth vocal harmonies in the Mills Brothers tradition are the hallmark of a Lightning Bugs show. The Bug’s repertoire features jazz and pop standards from the 30s and 40s when the big bands were blowing and the dance floors were crowded.

Bass Meets Voice

Jazz vocalist Jackie Allen’s extraordinary talent has taken her on extended tours of Europe, Africa, South America, and Asia to many of the world’s most celebrated concert stages. Wheezetones

The Wheezetones had its beginning at a Lincoln East High School class reunion. Following an impromptu jam with other fellow musician from the class of 71, founding member John Ballew, Paul Burner, and Doug Dickeson stepped up to the microphone and, without any preparation or practice, sang “Amie” by Pure Prairie League. The blend of the three voices made a lasting impression on Ballew, who a year later booked a concert before Burner or Dickeson knew it.

Bobby Gadoury & Sharon Kreimer

Sharon Kreimer has collaborated with numerous local musicians, incorporating elements of jazz, blues, rock and pop music into her repertoire. Bobby Gadoury, vocalist and classically trained pianist, presents his own eclectic interpretations of jazz, blues, and popular music, from Sinatra to John Legend. Together, they nave a creative partnership.

The Toasted Ponies

The Toasted Ponies combine the best of both traditional and contemporary Bluegrass music. These musicians are seasoned professionals who love playing their music and it shows. They will play everyone’s Bluegrass favorites along with tun mix of Cajun, Western Swing, Gospel, and Celtic tunes just to keep things interesting. The Ponies are equally at home on a formal concert stage, barn party, county fair, or community picnic.

Mariachi Los Galleros

Mariachi Los Galleros represents 26 years of mariachi tradition. In 1996, Miguel Gonzalez, Margarito Gonzalez, and Inez Soltero founded Mariachi Los Galleros in Omaha. They have continued to go strong over the years as they added members to the group. Each member brings their musical talents and combined ofter traditional mariachi sound, both historic and modern.

B-Street Band

The B Street Band is a Lincoln based classic rock cover band that formed in 2008. Band members include Dave Miller (guitar and vocals), Phil Goddard (keyboards and vocals), Tammy Miller (vocals), Steve Hanson (lead guitar), Tom Troyer (bass) and Craig Bontrager (drums). Their unique blend of harmonies and stellar musicianship have made them a crowd favorite throughout the Lincoln area.

Kusi Taki

Experience the Andean cultures of Ecuador, Bolivia, Peru and Chile through an acoustic journey and storytelling. The award-winning Lincoln-based Andean musical group Kusi Taki (Quechua for ‘Enchanting Music’) will play traditional South American instruments including the Quena (flute), Zamponas (panpipes), Charango (10-stringed small guitar) and Bombo (goatskin drum) and sing in Spanish and Quechua to bring alive the cultures and history of the indigenous people of the Andes.
